Connect your records

Current release: use only with your own private Google Sheets backend. Public account sign-up and separate private workspaces are not available yet.

Use the same connection on every device. Get these two details from your workspace owner, or from Cloud sync & data safety in your working Daylo app:

  • Apps Script Web App URL — ends in /exec.
  • Authorization Token — your private workspace key.
  1. Open connection settings below. Paste both values and leave automatic sync off.
  2. Choose Save Settings, then Test Authenticated Connection.
  3. Joining an existing workspace on an empty app? Choose Recover From Cloud, follow its checks, and compare your records with the working device. For a new, empty workspace, skip recovery.
  4. Enable automatic sync, save, and choose Sync Now. Confirm zero pending and attention items.
  5. Export and verify a backup, then run Data Safety, System Health and Production Readiness.

Keep the key private. Never post it in chat or screenshots. A new business needs its own Google Sheets backend; downloading Daylo does not create one.

02 · PHONE & BROWSER

Add Daylo to your screen

Open daylo-4s7.pages.dev on the device you want to use.

iPhone / iPad: in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. Leave Open as Web App on if offered, then tap Add.

Android: in Chrome, open ⋮ → Add to Home screen → Install. The option may say Install app.

Mac: in Safari, choose File → Add to Dock. In other supported desktop browsers, use the install option in the browser menu.

Open the installed app, connect your workspace using the steps alongside, and wait for Ready offline under Offline & installation.

Each browser and installed app can have separate records. Back up and sync your working app before moving; verify recovery before creating invoices. No Python is needed for this browser installation.

Requires Python 3.9 or newer. Internet required to download.

  1. Extract the entire ZIP.
  2. Open Install on Mac.command or Install on Windows.cmd.
  3. After setup, use Start Daylo on your Desktop and connect your workspace.

This is a script-based setup package, not a signed .pkg or .exe. Windows execution has not yet been tested on a Windows computer. If another Daylo version is already running locally, setup will explain how to proceed.

Saved records work offline once the app is ready. New invoice numbers, sync and cloud recovery need an internet connection. Stop an active Punch Clock on the device where you started it.

Offline & installation

Checking offline availability…

Work with saved records offline. A connection is required to issue new invoice numbers, synchronize changes, or recover from the cloud. External logo links may need a connection; uploaded logos and QR images stay with local records.

Use your browser’s install option. In Safari on Mac, use File → Add to Dock. On iPhone or iPad, use Share → Add to Home Screen. Open the installed app once while connected and wait until it is ready offline.

Before moving to an installed app: export and verify a backup. Safari’s installed app has separate local storage; existing Safari records do not move automatically. Keep using this Safari tab until the installed app’s records and checks have been verified. Your active Punch Clock and local settings stay in the original browser.

Recover From Cloud is for a new/rebuilt browser. It replays the complete remote history from revision 0 and restores the seven syncable data stores without touching local-only Punch Clock runtime/settings.

The token is gateway authentication stored locally in this browser. Do not treat it as a secret against someone with access to this browser profile.
